Cristina is a rising star in both Mexico and US. She has been establishing her career in Mexico for the past 10 years, and ever since she first appeared in Miss Bala opposite Gina Rodriguez, her career in the US has taken off. She has been a series regular on Nic Refn's "Too Old To Die Young" (Amazon), a series regular on Max Borstein's anthology series "The Terror: Infamy" (AMC) and most recently was a series regular on Paramount Networks "68 Whiskey", which was produced by Ron Howard and Brian Grazer.

“I’m extremely proud to be joining the Homeless World Cup as a Champion. I’m excited to combine my passion for the game alongside the powerful work the Homeless World Cup does in not only raising the issue of homelessness but actively doing something about it.

“Being involved in Netflix’s film about the tournament (The Beautiful Game ) which will be released soon, opened my eyes to the global issue of homelessness, we got to learn about the history of the Homeless World Cup whilst filming and the millions of lives it had impacted over the years. I’m looking forward to seeing what we can achieve over the next year and of course, the return of the tournament!’

Hero Fiennes Tiffin is an English actor based in London. His work includes feature film The Woman King, starring opposite Viola Davis and John Boyega; First Love, opposite Diane Kruger; and The Loneliest Boy in the World. Hero rose to fame playing the leading role in the After film franchise, based on the popular books by Anna Todd. As a young child, Hero played the young Voldemort in the Harry Pottery franchise, and began his adult acting career starring in the Baz Luhrmann campaign film for H&M. As a model, Hero is the face of Ferragamo’s men’s fragrance Ferragamo; as well as fronting Superdry's "Rebels" Campaign.

Hero joined the Homeless World Cup as a champion in 2022 because of his love of football and his desire to make a difference for people who are homeless. Hero is lifelong West Ham United fan.

“I’m honoured to be a Homeless World Cup Champion. I didn’t think there could be anything better than the World Cup, but here it is. The Homeless World Cup! The only thing better than football, is football that helps people.”

Honey Thaljieh is the co-founder and first ever captain of the Palestinian Women’s National Football Team. She has broken through innumerable social and political barriers to become a role model to women and girls throughout the Middle East and beyond. 

Following a series of career-ending knee injuries, Honey directed her efforts to empowering the next generation.

Through her extensive network of partnerships, she has created, developed, and maintained sports initiatives for thousands of boys and girls throughout the West Bank and the Gaza Strip.

Honey’s impact in Palestine continues as a member of the Supreme Council of Youth and Sport and as member of the Palestine Women’s Football Committee.

As a Corporate Communications Manager for FIFA, Honey works to communicate the efforts made by FIFA in the areas of education and health, gender equality, life skills, and peace initiatives through football.

Honey is also recognised as a Champion for Peace by the organisation Peace and Sport and serves as ambassador for several pro-social sports organisations. She has spoken at many prestigious international organisations, including United Nations, UNESCO, UNICEF, and TEDx Zurich.

Honey was previously part of the Homeless World Cup Ambassadorial programe and is now continuing her involvement as a Champion.

“The Homeless World Cup empowers people and changes lives. Football changed my life and broke down barriers and this special tournament does exactly that, it’s a charity very close to my heart and I’m delighted to be continuing my relationship with the Foundation as a Champion.”

Hope Solo Solo is regarded as one of the top female goalkeepers of all time. She was a goalkeeper for the United States women's national soccer team from 2000 to 2016, and is a World Cup champion and two-time Olympic gold medalist.

Hope was inspired to become a Homeless World Cup Champion having been involved with the Homeless World Cup for several years.

“I’m proud to be a Homeless World Cup Champion. From the very first time I learned about the Tournament and all the countries and organisations across the globe who are part of the Homeless World Cup family, I’ve wanted to get more involved in the important work they do. Spending time with players at the 20th anniversary tournament in Sacramento this summer was an incredible experience to see up close how football can transform lives.

"Growing up, I witnessed my father, a Vietnam veteran, experience the mental and physical challenges of homelessness. Yet, he always had so much love to give and taught me so many of my greatest life lessons. He also loved sport, was my first coach and knew the importance of activity and its massive benefits, both physical and mental.

Michael Sheen is a multi-award-winning Welsh actor and RADA graduate, known for his extensive work across film, TV and stage, as well as his charity work.

His vast film credits include resuming the role of David Frost in Ron Howard’s feature Frost/Nixon; Tony Blair in Stephen Frears’ The Queen; Woody Allen’s Midnight in Paris; Brian Clough in The Damned United; Passengers opposite Chris Pratt and Jennifer Lawrence, Netflix’s Apostle and Sky’s Last Train to Christmas.

Michael’s numerous TV credits include The Special Relationship (HBO), where he resumed the role of Tony Blair; Dr. Bill Masters in four seasons of the acclaimed Showtime series Masters of Sex, for which he was also a producer; Adrian Shergold’s Dirty Filthy Love; Andy De Emmony’s Kenneth Williams: FANTABULOSA!, for which he won the RTS award for Best Actor;

Michael’s many notable appearances on stage include Amadeus (Old Vic), Caligula (Donmar Warehouse), Hamlet (Young Vic), Look Back In Anger (Royal Exchange and National Theatre) and Under Milk Wood at the National Theatre. He created, co-directed, and performed in the ground-breaking three-day live event The Passion in Port Talbot for National Theatre Wales.

“The Homeless World Cup in Cardiff, 2019, was one of the proudest and most humbling experiences I’ve witnessed and been a part of for a very long time. I want that feeling back and I couldn’t be happier to have joined the Homeless World Cup as a Champion.

“I want to give back to the players and the tournament, I want to see and hear all the inspiring stories that this wonderful event creates. I can’t believe we haven’t had another tournament since 2019, I’m excited to see what next year has in store for the Homeless World Cup and everyone involved.”
