How to watch the Seoul 2024 Homeless World Cup
The 19th edition of the Homeless World Cup takes place in South Korean capital, Seoul. It will be the first time the tournament is held in Asia. From Saturday 21st – Saturday 28th September, Hanyang University will welcome 56 teams from 42 nations, with some 450 players travelling to compete for their countries for the first time.
The Homeless World Cup is the inspiration behind films The Beautiful Game and Dream, both streaming on Netflix, now you have a chance to see the real tournament in action.
At the Homeless World Cup, players can only compete once, making it a truly life changing experience for every player.
The Homeless World Cup is a street football tournament with 4-a-side games which are seven minutes a half. It’s fast, it’s invigorating and regardless of whether you are watching in person or following online – you will be inspired and drawn in by the quality of the football and the brilliant stories of the players.
The tournament draw will take place on Friday 20th September, which will determine the groups and fixtures for the first stage of the tournament.
Watching in person
If you’re coming to watch in person, all games will be played at Hanyang University on three pitches across eight days of competition. The tournament is free to attend, and you do not need to book a ticket.
Everyday a schedule will be published in the morning ahead of the day’s play. Every team will have at least one game per day, which means regardless of which day you choose to come and watch, you will be able to support your favourite team.
On Saturday 21st September at 10:00, there will be an Opening Parade before the Official Opening Ceremony at 10:30 to welcome the players at Hanyang University. This is a memorable and exciting event which sees all the nations parading ahead of the first game which will take place at 11:30.
South Korea will play the first game of the tournament. The opposition team will be chosen in the draw, which takes place on Friday 20th September.
On the first day each team will have one game, with games taking place from 11:30 to 16:30.
Kick off each day will vary with action kicking off from 11:00, except on the Finals’ Day – Saturday 28th September - when games kick off at 10:30. The Women’s Seoul 2024 Homeless World Cup Final and Men’s Seoul 2024 Homeless World Cup Final will be the final games played on the last day.

Watching Online
The Seoul 2024 Homeless World Cup will be streamed live on FIFA+ for the first time. The video streaming platform is free to access, and you will be able to follow the action from all three pitches across the eight days of competition.
The tournament will also be streamed on the Homeless World Cup Facebook page and on the Homeless World Cup YouTube page. Team games will also be steamed on our member country’s Facebook pages. This is all thanks to support from our long-term media partner QTV.
For the first time the fixtures and results and full team line-ups will be listed on football management platform Dribl.
