Homeless World (Keepy Uppy) Cup 2020

The Competition

This year we were unable to bring our teams to the competition, so instead, we’re bringing the competition to them, in our very first Homeless World (Keepy Uppy) Cup!

Involving 50 teams from around the world – 34 in the men’s competition and 16 in the women’s – this challenge will see individual players representing their teams across several rounds.

Each round runs for 30 seconds, and players will have to go against the clock to score as many points as possible. The player that scores the most points moves their team on to the next stage.

To score points, players will have to do as many keepy uppies as possible, and points are awarded each time the ball is kept up:

  • 1 point for using anything below the waist
  • 2 points for headers
  • and 3 points for shoulders
  • There is a 2-point deduction for each time the ball touches the floor or there is a handball
