Red Devils still top ahead of North West rivals as World United 5k League enters final stretch

Manchester United remain top of the league as we canter towards the season’s end, but could Liverpool’s late season surge  of sign-ups spoil the party at Old Trafford? The Scousers have leapfrogged both Corinthians of Sao Paulo and FC Barcelona who slide to third and fourth ahead of Paris St Germain who’s late-season bloom sees them make the top five for the first time. Any one of these teams could be crowned champions in a few short weeks. Strap in folks, the World United 5k League title race is about to gain pace!

Man City reach a highest-ever place of 6th, but is it too little, too late for the blue half of Manchester? Only their fans can make the difference now. Real Madrid’s descent continues as the galacticos seem set on ending their season in a black hole. Portuguese powerhouse FC Porto continue to climb ahead of Sunderland who return to the league and leap to the leafy heights of 9th. Still the league’s only Londoners, Tottenham Hotspur have returned to the top 10 at the expense of Juventus and Glasgow Rangers who fall to 11th and 12th  whilst Flamengo and Newcastle United continue their bottom half obscurity. Napoli dock into the league at 15th, fans of the Little Donkeys will also be joyed at AS Roma’s continued fall as the Eternal City’s time in the league comes to an end.

An unchanged tail to the league sees Celtic and Inter Miami sit above a static bottom 3 of River Plate, Bayern Munich and Girona. Do these have enough supporters to keep them in World United 5k League as it reaches its climax?
