The 18th edition of the Homeless World Cup took place at Sacramento State University’s Hornet Stadium, the first time the tournament has been held in the United States, from July 8 – July 15, 2023.

400 players representing 40 countries travelled to Sacramento, the state capital of California to attend the week-long football tournament, the first time the Homeless World Cup had been played since the pandemic.
