Plus Grassroots

Grassroots is Cardiff City Centre’s Youth Project which supports young people aged 16-25 with a range of complex needs. Grassroots Offers information support and guidance to those experiencing homelessness, those vulnerably housed, those leaving the care system, those involved in abusive relationships, young parents and many experiencing mental health and physical health issues.

Grassroots is a place of care and optimism which is sometimes lacking in the lives of the young people with whom we work. We aim to support young people to realise their talents and to build resilience to tackle life positively.

At the Homeless World Cup, Grassroots will be providing an area for young people to learn new skills, participate in workshops and activities, to receive information and guidance in a range of subjects affecting young people. The Youth Zone will also allow Cardiff Youth Service and other organisations working with young people to showcase their services.
