Melbourne ambition for Zambia

Team Zambia have a clear goal for Melbourne 2008 Homeless World Cup: To become peer educators to encourage young players in Garden compound and nearby communities. And to be Soccer Ambassadors for the Zambia nation.

They have a training programme in action for the players to make this happen.

Joy Human Development Centre

Joy Human Development Trust was founded after brothers James, John and Morgan Chibuye took part in a skills development programme in Lusaka in 1998. The project was organised and funded by Traidcraft and aimed to impart sustainable income generating knowledge to its participants. They received expert tuition from local and international craftspeople in the art of wood carving and papermaking.
