Team members of Hong Kong, China Contingent had been confirmed after the serious individual interview with several candidates in late June. To raise the public concern on the team and the needs of the homeless people and other deprived group, the Flag Presentation, together with the friendly match versus 'Artist and Pop Star Soccer Team' was held on 15 July.
Team members of Hong Kong, China Contingent had been confirmed after the serious individual interview, which was held by the selection committee, with several candidates in late June.
To raise the public concern on the team and the needs of the homeless people and other deprived group, the Flag Presentation, together with the friendly match versus ‘Artist and Pop Star Soccer Team’ was held on 15 July. The team and the players have got much encouragement, support and care from the guests and the public.
After the player list was finalized, the regular practice has become more intensive. The team has 2 practices each week (Tuesday and Friday night), so that the players would have the best condition to play the competitive games in Denmark.
Apart from the practice, 3 sessions of volunteer training are provided for the players. The training not only aims at building up their team spirit and having deeper understanding on each other, they would also know more about the situation of local homeless people.
The players now are trying their best to prepare well for the event. They commit much on the team. We really hope that they would get positive effects in the event, find their dreams and life goals, and continue to fight for the better life in coming future.
