Team Austria, co-ordinated by the Styrian Charity (Caritas), is selected after a nationwide selection process uniting over 50 social organisations and more than three hundred players. Coaches Prilasnig and Fuchs will prepare the players at the team training camps in Styria, so close to the final destinion of the next adventure, Milan Homeless World Cup 2009. Final Position: Milan 2009 - 23rd; Melbourne 2008 - 15th; Copenhagen 2007 - 33rd; Cape Town 2006 - 45th; Edinburgh 2005 - 8th; Gothenburg 2004 - Runners-Up; Graz 2003 - Champions (As Hosts).

Austrian Team 2009 preparing for Milan

We proudly present the Austrian Homeless World Cup Team 2009. The Austrian Coaches Gilbert Prilasnig and Klaus Fuchs are preparing the eight players whilst three training camps for the Homeless World Cup in Milan. The whole Team is looking forward to experiencing the power of football in Milan!

Football passion at the exhibition „herz:rasen“ in Vienna

The exhibition puts a special focus on The Homeless World Cup. One of the main cultural highlights going along with the EURO 2008 is the football exhibition at the Künstlerhaus Wien organised by Technisches Museum Wien in collaboration with "2008 - Österreich am Ball", the association that organises the EURO 2008 in Austria.

Starting 4th of April 2008 at the Künstlerhaus Wien, opened until 6th of July Karlsplatz 5, 1010 Wien
